Education Guidance & Curriculum Awareness Session

ECET Foundation offers education guidance sessions designed to help students, parents, and guardians develop a clear understanding of the UK education system and its key academic milestones.

These sessions provide structured insight into curriculum stages, examination pathways, and long-term progression routes, enabling parents and guardians to make informed decisions and provide effective support for their child’s academic development and future aspirations.

Topics may include:

• Overview of Key Stages (KS2–KS5) and curriculum expectations
• Understanding 11+ pathways and selective entrance options
• GCSE structure, grading systems, and subject choices
• Foundation and Higher tier pathways
• Post-16 progression options
• Introduction to UCAS and university application processes
• The importance of early preparation and structured academic planning

  These sessions are offered free of charge to enrolled families and may be available at a low cost to the wider community. On selected occasions, open-access sessions may be delivered to support broader community awareness and engagement.

Our aim is to reduce information barriers and empower parents and guardians with knowledge that strengthens long-term academic confidence and progression.
